ANNOUNCEMENT:  2010 Ida Ballard Simon Book Scholarship Recipient

     Glenise Davis received the 2010 Ida Ballard Simon Book Scholarship! 

Glenise was the only applicant for this years book scholarship and she has a very impressive application!

--  She graduated from Hamilton High School on May 23, 2010 with the distinct honor as 2010 Class Valedictorian!

--  She has been accepted by Fisk University and plans to study Biology at Fisk (to prepare for medical School)!

--  Her career goal is to become a pediatrician!

--   Her GPA is 4.0! 

--   Her ACT  Score is 23!   

--  In addition to maintaining a high academic ranking, she participated in several academic clubs, organizations
     and sports activities. 

--  Closing Statement on her essay:   "Anything is possible and attainable, only if  it is desirable!” 

--   Glenise is the daughter of proud parents Derrick and Glenda Davis!
