Ida Ballard Simon
September 15, 1949-May 22,
2004
Ida was a 1967
Graduate of George
Washington Carver High School in
Memphis, TN. In addition to performing
as the Drum Majorette of the Marching
Cobra Band she had the honor of being
crowned, "Miss Carver".

Memorial Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Ida
Ballard Simon Memorial Scholarship
Fund is to support graduating seniors from the City of
Memphis School District to meet Lincoln University's
financial requirements to attend and obtain an under-graduate
degree from this university.
Funding will be charitable,
tax-deductible donations received
from businesses and individuals designated for this
scholarship.
